Persistence is the ability to save the state of an object into some storage format or to load a previously saved state into an object. VisionPro has persistence features at the component level and within the vision tool edit controls.

QuickBuild offers a list of menus for performing a variety of tasks as you design and develop your application.

The File menu offers the following options:

Open QuickBuild Application		Open a VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file that contains a saved QuickBuild application.
Save QuickBuild Application		Saves the current QuickBuild application to a VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file.
Save QuickBuild Application As		Saves current QuickBuild application to a new VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file.
Open Job		Opens a VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file that contains a configured job.
Save Job		Save the current job to a VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file.
Save Job As		Save the current job to a new VisionPro persistence (.vpp) file.
Import ToolGroup		Import an existing VisionPro tool group as a new job.
Reset QuickBuild Application		Reset the QuickBuild application by removing all the current jobs.
Exit		Exit QuickBuild

The Run menu offers the following options:

The Configure menu offers the following options:

Online: I/O Enabled		Determines whether the application responds to input signals and generates output signals. See the section Online and Offline in Controlling Your QuickBuild Application With Discrete I/O.

The Show menu offers the following options:

The Job Editor offers a variety of menus.

Job Continuously		Continuously acquire new images and run the vision tools in the job for each new image acquisition.

The Configure menu offers the following options:

Image Source		Configure whether your job acquires images from an image file or from an acquisition FIFO. See the section Setting the Image Source for more information.

The Show menu offers the following options:

Floating Tools Results		Show a floating window with the results for all the vision tools in this job.
Image Queue		Shows the state of the image queue.
VisionPro Tools		Show the floating toolbox window.
Object Editor		Show the Object Editor.
Local Display		Show the current image in the local display window.
Floating Display		Show the current image in a floating display window.
Live Display		Show a floating window with a live image from the acquisition FIFO.
Statistics		Show statistics about this job in an attached pane beneath this Job Editor.
