Enabling Optional Plugins in a Project

You can enable optional Cognex Designer plugins on a per-project basis, which means that you must enable them for each project in which you want to use them. You can enable optional plugins both for new and existing projects:

In case of a new project, you can enable plugins for the project with the New Project dialog. See the Enabling Optional Plugins for New Projects topic for more information.
In case of an existing project, you can enable plugins for the project with the Project Plugin Configurator. See the Enabling or Disabling Optional Plugins for Existing Projects topic for more information.

Note: When installed on the PC running Cognex Designer, the In-Sight ViDi and AlignPlus plugins are automatically loaded into the newly-created project. Therefore, no manual selection is required for these plugins.
