Security Licenses

VisionPro uses a security system to ensure that the software is properly licensed. VisionPro licenses can be set in the non-volatile memory of a Cognex USB security key attached to the PC.

The following licenses are required to use the Field Calibration application:

The application checks that your system has the required licenses and displays an error or warning similar to the following if the licenses are not present:

  • VisionPro.CamDSGige license is missing. Exiting the application.

  • One of the following licenses: VisionPro.Cam8 or VisionPro.CamMulti are required.

  • License for validation is missing.

Some error messages cause the application to exit.
