The OCRMax tool edit control provides a graphical user interface to the OCRMaxTool API, which you use to read a single string of characters in an 8-bit greyscale image or a 16-bit greyscale image.
See the topic Control Reference for a description of the buttons along the top of the edit control. In addition, the OCRMax tool edit control supports the following image buffers:
- The Current.InputImage buffer contains the next image with a character string the OCRMax tool will analyze, plus any verification graphics you might enable.
- The LastRun.InputImage buffer contains the last image analyzed with the OCVMax tool.
