A scoring function that uses the normalized position (positive or negative) of a candidate edge or edge pair. The position is normalized by dividing it by the expected distance between the edges (this function is only suitable if EdgeMode is CogCaliperEdgeModePair.
This is a one-sided scoring function object; you use SetXYParameters(Double, Double, Double, Double, Double) to set the individual values that define this function.
Unlike the CogCaliperScorerPositionNorm object, this object lets you score positive and negative values. In most cases, you will specify the XC, XO, and X1 values such that they enclose 0.0, as shown below:
