Remarks

A scoring function that uses the absolute position of the candidate edge or edge pair relative to the center of the input region. This is a one-sided scoring function object; you use SetXYParameters(Double, Double, Double, Double, Double) to set the individual values that define this function.

For most applications, you specify a scoring function that produces lower scores the further the result is from the center of the input region. You do this by specifying a function in which XC is greater than X1 and X1 is greater than X0, as shown below:

In some cases, you may want to specify scoring function that produces higher scores the further the result is from the center of the input region. You do this by specifying a function in which X0 is greater than X1 and X1 is greater than XC, as shown below:
