About This Release

The In-Sight Vision Suite software introduces the following new features and enhancements since the previous major product release (In-Sight ViDi 1.8.0):

• Updated the License Configuration utility to indicate the firmware version of the Cognex Security Dongle and the expiration date of the licensed products.
• Updated In-Sight Vision Suite to support multiple versions (1.2.0, 1.3.0 and 1.8.0) of the In-Sight ViDi adapter installed on the same PC. See the In-Sight ViDi Adapter Co-Installation topic for more information.

• Added the SLMP Configuration window to allow you setting up SLMP industrial communications for supported Cognex devices to Mitsubishi PLCs/MCs.

  Note: SLMP protocol is only supported by In-Sight D900 Series Vision Systems compatible with In-Sight ViDi 1.6.0.
• Enhanced the Job Management utility for In-Sight ViDi-compatible vision systems. Superseded by the File Management tool, the new utility allows you to delete files and folders on the selected vision system, or copy/move files and folders within the device storage, or from one device to another.
