Known Issues
The following known issues have been identified in this release:
| Issue # | Known Issue |
|---|---|
| ISPROD-4874 | ViDiRead markings disappear when accepting the view outside the configured ROI. |
| ISPROD-5503 | If a network adapter is configured with multiple subnets, vision system can only communicate with devices on the first configured subnet. |
| ISPROD-7535 | vision system workspaces are not deleted from a job when the corresponding vision system cells are deleted, leading to job files that continuously grow and can cause load and save timeouts. |
| ISPROD-8431 |
The copy and paste of cells on Windows 11 is slow, taking up to a minute. Note: Windows 11 is not a supported OS, and this recommendation is only if you are running in this unsupported configuration.

Clocked Data Storage functions (such as ClockedSum) use results from the latest sheet execution. Therefore, when loading a job that contains a clocked function (or functions) dependent on the AcquireImage function (located in cell A0 by default), the clocked function(s) will return #ERR until a new image is successfully acquired.
This issue also has a cascading effect on clocked cells dependent on other cells that require the AcquireImage function to be triggered to clear their #ERR state. For example, if you have a ClockedSum function in cell A1 dependent on the AcquireImage function in cell A0, and also have another ClockedSum function in A2 dependent on the AcquireImage and ClockedSum functions in cells A0 and A1, then:

The In-Sight ViDi installer does not install the gigeconfigdrv utility. This utility controls the installation/uninstallation of the eBus Universal Pro Driver for GigE cameras, therefore its absence can result in the following issues:
This issue does not affect PCs with VisionPro also installed on them, as the VisionPro installer contains the gigeconfigdrv utility. |
| ISNG-10728 | Recipe issues on SoftwareController with special characters like é, á, ő, ú, ű, ó, ü, ö, and so on. |

If you have In-Sight ViDi 1.2.0 (or a newer version of the adapter) installed with VisionPro 9.6 on the same PC, then uninstalling either of these software will render the other one unusable, as their shared Cognex Security Service is also removed during uninstall. To fix this problem, uninstall both applications, and then reinstall the one that you wish to keep using. When using multiple versions of In-Sight ViDi on the same PC (such as 1.2.0 and 1.3.0), this behavior affects VisionPro 9.6 only if both versions of In-Sight ViDi are uninstalled. |
| ISNG-9797 | While in the WebPage Editor, the WebPage Toolbox incorrectly displays the Charts category and its elements, as well as the Data Table element in the Data Display category. The elements in the Charts category, and the Data Table element are currently not supported. |
| ISNG-9231 | A spreadsheet that exceeds 100 MB cannot be loaded to a job. To avoid this issue, when saving a large spreadsheet that exceeds 75 MB, a Caution message is displayed that prompts to reduce the spreadsheet size by removing any unnecessary tools or cells, or by only including a limited number of LatchImage functions. When creating a new spreadsheet configuration via recipes, the same Caution message is displayed. |
| ISNG-9209 | When you open a job that was saved with a specific spreadsheet recipe configuration, the "No configuration was loaded" message is displayed next to the Recipe Manager button, even though the configuration was correctly loaded to the job. |
| ISNG-9101 | When the WriteDiscrete function is configured to control the state of the Pass/Fail LED discrete output that is programmed to flash Red/Green in the Discrete I/O Settings dialog, the Pass/Fail LED indicator on the In-Sight D900 series vision system may incorrectly flash red when it should stay off. For example, if you trigger the vision system after placing the vision system Offline, the Pass/Fail LED indicator should stay off but it flashes red. |
| ISNG-9031 | If the Trigger Mode of the AcquireImage function is set to Camera, when the vision system is triggered while a job is Online but paused, the discrete output line incorrectly pulses high and the Pass/Fail LED and Error LED indicators on the vision system incorrectly flash. This issue does not occur when the De-Energize Outputs While Paused checkbox is checked in the Discrete I/O Settings dialog. |
| ISNG-8671 | The ClearResultsBuffer function is not currently supported. |
| ISNG-8263 |
The AcquireImage function in cell A0 cannot be used as a conditional cell in the Cell State dialog. For example, if the cell state of the Sleep function is configured as Conditionally Enabled and its Cell Reference is set to A0 in the dialog, the job will be executed immediately after the image acquisition without pausing. Workaround: Use the second argument to specify the condition. For example, if you want to pause the job execution for 5000 milliseconds after the image acquisition, configure the Sleep function as Sleep(5000,A0). |
| ISNG-7774 | When adding graphics to display in the Web HMI, especially when the graphics are complex (such as tracking the outline of a blob pattern), the job will execute slower. |
| ISNG-7281 |
When resetting the vision system to factory defaults, the files saved on the root directory will not be deleted. Note: Files saved on the vision system's sub-directory (for example, under \images) are deleted.

ISHW-1523 |
If an acquisition Delay is specified in the AcquireImage property sheet and the vision system receives a trigger, the Exposure Start signal is sent as soon as the trigger is received, and does not wait for the specified Delay to begin acquisition. |
|
ISHW-1523 |
The Exposure Complete signal is incorrectly sent when the image acquisition is complete, and not when the exposure is complete. |
|
ISHW-1524 |
There is a 0ms - 5ms delay in acquisition time. This affects:

ISNG-2546 |
If you select a cell containing an Event function, and use the Cell State Dialog to set the cell to be disabled, the cell containing the Event function will not be disabled (even though it graphically appears to be disabled). Instead, you will have to disable the cell that is referencing the Event function. For example, if you have a ReadDiscrete function that references an Event function, you would have to disable the ReadDiscrete function instead of disabling the cell containing the Event function. |

Certain notebook power settings and Windows power plan options can affect the operation of the Cognex Security Service and the Cognex Security Dongle, resulting in security violations or other issues while using the adapter. To avoid such issues, configure the power settings of Windows and your PC as described below:
|
| ISPROD-6536 | A momentary network interruption disrupts emulator when working with ViDi EL Tools and the cloud dongle. |
| ISPROD-8923 | A job with many Edge Learning tools fails to load due to a UI timeout. |
| ISPROD-10033 | The D900 SVG image and graphics results may be clipped incorrectly. |
