View Menu: EasyBuilder View
The View menu allows you to customize EasyBuilder's user interface.
Note: The following options
of the View menu are available only when an EasyBuilder View is the active window.
- In-Sight Network: Shows/hides the In-Sight Network pane, which displays all vision systems detected on your local subnet in addition to any vision systems defined within the Explorer Host Table. For more information, see In-Sight Network.
- In-Sight Files: Shows/hides the In-Sight Files pane, which allows you view the files contained ona vision system or emulator. Drag-and-drop can be used to copy job files, images and vision system settings among the vision systems on your network via FTP. For more information, see In-Sight Files.
- Palette: Shows/hides the Palette, which displays the Help, Results and I/O tabs. For more information, see Palette: EasyBuilder View.
- Toolbars: Shows/hides the Standard toolbar, Job Display toolbar and Explorer toolbar (by default this toolbar is hidden). For more information, see Toolbars: EasyBuilder View.
- Refresh: Repopulates
the file list in the In-Sight
Files pane and the vision system/emulator list in the Get Connected settings pane and the In-Sight Network pane to account for any of the following:
- Files or folders that have been remotely saved, renamed or deleted.
- Vision systems or emulators that have been disconnected from the network.
- Show Selected Tool Graphics Only: Shows/hides overlay graphics associated with the selected tool.
- Show Immediate Feedback: Shows/hides immediate feedback for Location and Inspection Tools when their region is moved or re-sized. When enabled, graphics will be updated immediately as a region is moved or re-sized. When disabled, graphics will not be updated until after the region is moved or re-sized.
- Text Scale Mode: Defines the scale for graphic overlay text. This setting is applied to all graphic overlay text and is not saved to the job file. (default = Scale With Image)
- Scale With Image: As the image is zoomed in or out, the graphic overlay text is scaled proportionally with the image.
- Shrink Only: As the image is zoomed out, the scale of the graphic overlay text is decreased. As the image is zoomed in, if the graphic overlay text is smaller than the default font size (9 point), the scale of the graphic overlay text is increased until it reaches the default font size.
- Fixed: The graphic overlay text is a fixed size, regardless of the image zoom level.
- Filmstrip: Shows/hides the filmstrip, which can display images stored to the PC or to the vision system. For more information, see Filmstrip: EasyBuilder.

Focus Metric: Shows/hides the Focus Metric, which is used to help determine an image focus score to indicate the degree to which the image, or a Region of the image, includes the smallest resolvable features in a "scene" (i.e., the object and its background, as captured in the image).
Note: When connected to the In-Sight 2000 series vision sensor, Focus Metric's Minimum, Maximum and Focus values are hidden. - Application Steps: Allows you to navigate to any available EasyBuilder application step. For more information, see Application Steps.
- Spreadsheet: Displays the current job in the Spreadsheet View. For more information, see Spreadsheet View.
