Interactive Graphics Mode
The parameters for many In-Sight functions, particularly Vision Tools, can be configured by adjusting an interactive graphic on top of the image. You can use interactive graphics to set the size, position, and rotation for a Region of Interest (ROI), or for training a model region.
You can adjust an interactive graphic from any spreadsheet cell that contains a function with a corresponding graphic, as well as by double clicking any parameter value with a corresponding graphic on the Property Sheet of the function. You can access Interactive Graphics Mode in standard view, depending on user access level.
Using Interactive Graphics Mode
-
Select a spreadsheet cell or Property Sheet parameter with an associated interactive graphic.
Note: The Edit Cell Graphic icon appears grayed out when the corresponding functions are not available in the current context. -
There are multiple methods for entering Interactive Graphics Mode:
- Double-click the parameter that contains the graphic (for example, Region), or select the parameter and press F9.
- Click the Edit Cell Graphic button in the Spreadsheet toolbar.
- From the property sheet, click the Edit Cell Graphic button in the Property Sheet toolbar.
- The spreadsheet overlay or property sheet disappears, and the interactive graphic is displayed on top of the image. There are six types of interactive graphics: annulus, regions, circles, crosses, points, and lines. The type of interactive graphic depends on the type of input required by the cell or value.
- If you want to accept the modifications, then press ENTER or click on the Accept Changes button in the Spreadsheet toolbar. The graphic appears over the image in red, but beneath the semi-transparent spreadsheet. To cancel the modifications, press ESC or click on the Cancel Changes button in the toolbar. Once you accept the changes, the new values are automatically entered into the cell formula or the Property Sheet parameter from which you entered Interactive Graphics Mode.
