Setup and Calibration

The Image Stitching tool is typically used in a vision application where multiple images are needed to capture a single scene that you wish to process with other vision tools. The following is a simplified diagram of such an application.

An important part of the application design is that all of the images you wish to combine using the Image Stitching tool must share a common client coordinate space. You will need to calibrate your cameras so that each image window maps into the proper client coordinate space area. An example of these mapped areas are the FOVs shown in Result image window examples. The calibration transforms that accomplish this mapping are the cc2Xforms that are part of each ccPelBuffer.
