Resets the encoder counter.

The Cognex MVS-8600 does not provide an absolute encoder position counter. There is, however, a counter that keeps track of any backward encoder pulses that the hardware detects when the encoder is moving opposite to the expected acquisition direction. Acquisition will not begin until forward motion resets this counter. Calling this method clears the backward encoder pulse counter and causes acquisition to begin right away without waiting for compensating forward counts.
