The root space for this tree is the screen pixels used by this display control, with the origin in the upper-left corner, the positive x-axis extending to the right, and the positive y-axis extending down. You can use this coordinate space tree to make it easier to create display annotations that are independent of the image being displayed in the control and independent of any display zoom or pan.
