Save Images to a PC Using the Sensor Filmstrip
Note: There are two filmstrip options on In-Sight Explorer: PC filmstrip and Sensor filmstrip. The PC filmstrip is simply a record/playback functionality, while the Sensor filmstrip saves the image and job information on the vision system.
What is Needed?
In-Sight Explorer must be running on a PC and connected to the target In-Sight vision system.
How are the Images Saved?
- Any image that appears in the Sensor filmstrip can be saved by clicking the Save to PC button.
- Images cannot be saved automatically.
Where are the Images Saved?
Images are saved to the PC. The default folder location is:
Windows 7/Windows 10: C:\ProgramData\Cognex\In-Sight\In-Sight Explorer x.x.x\Sensor Images
Note: The folder location can be specified in the Save Path field in the Sensor Filmstrip Settings dialog. For more information, see Sensor Filmstrip Settings Dialog.
