Surface Flaw Defect Detection Tool - Mask Tab
Defines whether or not the mask will be used (default = Off).
Defines that the mask will be trained to the currently configured parameter settings.
Defines how the tool will construct the mask (Largest Segment or Edge Mask; default = Edge Mask).
- Largest Segment: The tool will use the largest segment to generate the mask.
- Edge Mask: The tool will use edges to generate the mask (the Minimum Edge Contrast parameter determines which edges are used).
Defines the output image to display (Input Image, Edge Image, Segmented Image or Mask Image; default = Mask Image).
- Input Image: The currently acquired image will be displayed.
- Edge Image: An edge magnitude image will be displayed.
- Segmented Image: A color-coded, segmented image will be displayed.
- Mask Image: The binary mask image, which is created after the segmentation and mask generation process, will be displayed (after accounting for the fixture input). Pixel values of 255 = Care About Pixels; pixel values of 0 = Don't Care About Pixels.
Defines the sigma factor (0 to 100; default = 1) used to smooth the image.
Defines the minimum contrast (1 to 100; default = 10) used to detect edges.
Defines the minimum area (1 to 50000; default = 1000), in pixels, a segment must be in order to be extracted.
Defines the maximum size (0 to 1000; default = 0) a small hole must be in order to be filled (not counted as a hole).
Defines the median kernel size (0 to 50000; default = 0) which will be used to smooth the edges in the mask image.
Defines the number of times (-100 to 100; default = 0) the generated image will be eroded. This value can be either negative or positive; negative values dilate the image.
Defines whether or not to invert the mask, i.e. white for black, black for white.
