Locate Part

The Location Tools are used to define a feature in the image that provides positional data. The Location Tools create a Fixture, which is used to locate a part in the image quickly and reliably, even if the part being inspected rotates or appears in different locations in the image.

Notes:

If your job does not require positional data, or your part will be presented to the In-Sight sensor in the same location in every image, proceed to Inspect Part.
The In-Sight 2000-110 and 120/120C vision sensors allow you to add only one fixture to a job.

In-Sight 2000-130/130C Vision Sensor	Pattern Location tool: Pass/Fail status and Pattern Score Other Location tools: Pass/Fail status only
In-Sight Vision Systems and In-Sight 2000-23M Vision Sensor	Standard results (Positional Data* and Pass/Fail status)
* The tool reports the results in pixels, unless the image was calibrated to real-world units in Set Up Image.
