Industrial Communications Overview

The In-Sight vision system supports the industrial communications protocols (also known as Factory Floor Protocols and Industrial Ethernet Protocols). The industrial communications protocols allow you to create an application that can communicate with a compatible Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), across an industrial Ethernet network.

In-Sight vision systems support the following protocols:

EtherNet/IP (Rockwell PLCs): EtherNet/IP PLC Configuration
PROFINET (Siemens PLCs): PROFINET PLC Configuration
SLMP (Mitsubishi PLC/MCs): SLMP PLC Setup
